Red Bull doesn't just sponsor the world’s top athletes, but it builds platforms for them to tell their own stories. When Zeb Powell and the rest of the Red Bull team wanted to make a film about their influence on snowboarding, Red Bull and Burton came together to produce Paved.
I spent a month in Japan’s backcountry shooting for Paved, a Red Bull and Burton co-production about Red Bull’s influence on snowboarding, with Zeb Powell, Maria Thomsen, Ylfa Rúnarsdóttir, and Takeru Otsuka. I also led post-production on companion pieces. Paved won Film of the Year at the 2025 iF3 Film Festival, toured 65+ cities, and passed 10M+ views.
